Thank you for your purchase and we appreciate that you chose us over the sea of other makers out there in the world. I never set out to make mass production products and I still don’t. Each piece is an individual work of art that was carefully crafted with curiosity, passion, and drive to see what a hobbyist could do. By your purchase, you also share this passion and I thank you.
Ring Care:
Do not submerge or get wet by hand washing. The electronics are not waterproof. Failing to do so will likely result in product failure. To clean use a damp cloth and wipe gently.
Battery Replacement:
At some point, the battery will run out, or the diode could eventually go bad. When it does, don’t despair. It can all be changed easily enough.
The adhesive used is B-7000 multipurpose adhesive which is good for jewelry and other applications that are strong enough to hold, but gentle enough to remove in the event you need maintenance. I’ve also used E-8000 and even hot glue in a bind (hot glue is not my recommended application).

The red band is for illustrative purposes, you bought my metal bands, and I need to make more. The adhesive used is B-7000 multipurpose adhesive.

With your other hand, gently lift the stone until the adhesive is released from the band. You’ll now see the diode chipset.

The Chipset is gently pressure-fit into the hole and secured with small dabs of B-7000 on the top and bottom of the unit. Push the chipset out, and now you can slide the battery out of the housing. An excess dried glue can be easily pulled off the band and chipset (if it doesn’t come off during the removal).
If the chip set ever goes bad, replacements can be found online:

The unit uses CR927 3V battery. These can be found online as well.

Next Step: Place the chipset back in the ring. The hole has already been routed out to fit tightly on the battery housing of the chipset. Gently push the unit back into the hole to achieve a snug fit.

Apply a thin layer of B-7000 along the entire border of the ring edge.

Now set the stone on top of the ring band on top of where you applied the adhesive. I usually activate the led to line up the led to the desired location.

Then apply some gentle pressure to ensure the two surfaces allow the adhesive to properly spread between them. And allow the ring to sit and cure for 24 hours before use.

After 24 hours…Your ring is ready for action. Enjoy and thank you again.
