I have always loved Darth Vader. Ever since I was a kid and got to "meet him" at a local mall. Printing this helmet was so easy and the detail is amazing. I didn't expect the painting to be as difficult as it was (lots of sanding, painting, sanding, repainting...putting finger prints in the paint, sanding repainting, too much gloss applied, drips, sanding...you get the idea. But in the end, I think it turned out amazing and looks exactly as I had hoped. I created a custom LED display stand which I based on the style of the Death Start. Looks even better with the red lights on, illuminating the shelf it now lives on.
