i use resin to print any eyepieces that have a mesh like this. only other way to do it with FDM is to use extremely small layer lines, very slow speeds, and to lay them as "flat" to the print bed as possible to minimize support material. Alternately, if you have a multi-material print system, use a "support interface material" to remove it more easily ... if you don't have the support material or just want something cheaper, then you can use PLA as that interface if you're printing in PETG, or use PETG as the interface material if you're printing in PLA. Those two materials don't stick to each other. The catch here is that you'll need to print the the materials at the high end of PLA's temperature range and the low end of PETG's temperature range, like 225C
