the layout for the mark 85 hinge system is very similar but for whatever reason, the outer hinges prevent it from opening/closing properly. Once i remove the outer hinges, it can open easily and has trouble closing properly. did you have any issues with the star boost? Thanks!
what material did you use to print the parts PLA? on a FDM printer? or did you use resin printer You may have to show me some photos to determine the issue

So I spoke to Frank from FranklyBuilt and he confirmed that the model parts were junk. And that the helper arms were too far. So I copied crashworks location and frankensteined it
my method of fitting the original servo arm into the 3d part was the best option for me see the photos from dec 26th 2023

I printed these via FDM, everything scaled up to match helmet size. Servo arms don't grip onto servo gears. Did I mess up? Should I drop the hinge scales down?
No, you did not mess up. I forgot to mention if you are using small 9-gram servos, the opening slot to connect is too big on the arms. you will need to re-size if you have the means and skills. but I ended up doing is to take the stock servo arms from your servos kit cutting and trimming off the arms taking your 3d printed arm smoothing out the opening with a Dremel tool and super gluing it inside, if you scaled UP you might need to check the length of the arms to march up with the helmet slot opening.

Other option (have only just printed and not tested on my MK85 yet) - grab the arms off another well known kit, and use meshmixer to replace the ends where the servo's slot in
Hello, Do3d, the process for the hinges and pivots is too small for an FDM printer for me, I do not have good luck printing small prints, instead, I used an SLA resin printer, and it prints more accurately, and was able to install it with some small hardware screws and nuts, I only have a youtube video of the Helmet https://www.youtube.com/shorts/D3EikzVYpu8 maybe you can make the hinges and pivots larger so it can be printed much easier
