This is my process for scaling the files.
Scaling the files is one of the most important parts of the process. (at least it should if you want to get into those things perfectly.)
Why? The armor needs to fit your body, it doesn't make much sense to make the armor unmodified and praying that it fits on your body.. even if your measurements are totally different from Robert Downey Jr .. you will still wear the armor and it will make sense in your body, or you can also look like a person floating inside the armor (like the feeling of seeing a bad CGI in the movies), and you don't run the risk of having a lot of disconnected parts that don't fit you. For example, if you have an unwanted belly (or desired ... hahahah), it will not help much to print everything in standard size, you will end up wasting time and money.
So let's start
I started assembling all the armor, seeing how everything fits and what the limit of movement I would have.
The files by default are 1.88m, I am 1.62m .. that is, the armor would have to be reduced by around 20cm or I would manage to grow 20cm..hahaha
Just to remember that next to that, it would need to have space for what would be used inside the armor, lining, wires, lights, batteries, motors, arduino, it would have to have a clearance, adjusting exactly to my measure would not help much, because there would be no space not even to breathe ... but a very large gap, it would already escape my goal, which is that the whole thing makes sense in my body.
But it wasn't just reducing everything evenly, it doesn't work like that, each part has its scale, so it was necessary to work part by part .. waist, ribs, chest and etc.
I start adjusting by the waist, it is the part that will get closer to the body and from there the other parts will gradually increase. If you are not familiar with this type of process, you will have to work. Softwares: 3D Builder ( Win10) Meshmixer (www.meshmixer.com/)

You are eager to start printing, and to see your creation take shape, BUT WAIT!
To be sure of what you are doing, it is necessary to work outside the software too, here, you will use a lot of measuring tape and other things to take measurements of each part of your body repeatedly, because it is in this process that everything will go very well (or everything will go very wrong .. lol)
The measuring tape and other things will help you in the process, it's easy, take the side measurements, circumferences, whatever you think is important. Remember to check the location twice, three times and write it down somewhere. also do small tests, like printing just a few layers of the pieces to measure, so you don't waste material and time printing everything at once and running the risk of going wrong.
