I‘m a U.S. Soldier & began printing as a stress relief. Little did I know trying to level a bed, getting the 1st layer correct, placements of supports, pacing & hoping you don’t have a print fail was more stressful than deployment. ughh I do all my prints from a bare & original CR-10. No add-on and no extras. It’s the perfect gateway printer. I followed the CR10 Facebook group & there are always members posting their new prints or helpful tools that might help you with a problem. I found that hatchbox filament works best for me. The one bad thing about the filament is after awhile it becomes brittle and breaks if I don’t use it right away. Simplified3D was a life saver for me. It allow me to rotate and place supports where I want them. Since I print lots of helmets, the software allow me to flip the helmets upside down, saving me on filament, time & money. I bought my CR-10 from gearbest.com & I order all my filament from Amazon. My last project was the free MK2 Ironman helment offered here. It can be seen in my photo. My next project will be all the power rangers Thanks again DO3D.
