Hi All,
I'm new to the 3D printing game and decided to take on my first big project, which is printing the MK61 Moon Knight helm and hood (link here).
I've been playing around with scaling the helmet for a good fit by measuring in meshmixer to get the scales right. For the most part, the helm prints in parts which is great news for me, and whilst I can get the helm itself to fit my bed, I'm wondering about the best orientation to print it in?
Seems to be that whichever way I position it, Cura wants to use an awful lot of supports to the point its coming out at 4-5 days of printing, which seems to be 4 days of just supports?
Can anyone give me any helpful guidance on some things to try out?
Many Thanks!
Tom
